Expert Team
The project of developing the evaluation system for additives and processing aids for the organic food industry will be managed by an expert team composed of a total of six professionals:

Dr. Alexander Beck, of the Büro für Lebensmittel und Qualität food quality consultancy, is contributing his expertise to the present project of developing an additives list for the organic food industry in Germany.

Boris Liebl is a research associate of FiBL Germany. He hosts the processors' section of www.oekolandbau .de, is co-author of the manual entitled bioXgen - Organic Products without Genetic Engineering and a guideline for reducing the use of preservatives in organic foods. He used to work for an organic inspection body and in this capacity he provided consulting and inspection services for organically managed processing operations. He is in charge of product evaluation for the additives list.

Rolf Mäder is a senior research associate of FiBL Germany. In his former position with alicon GmbH (now ABCERT AG), he started the alicon catalogue of inputs for organic agriculture, which also included the area of additives and processing aids. He is the project manager and coordinator, and is in charge of product evaluation.

Ursula Kretzschmar-Rüger, FiBL Frick (Switzerland) is contributing her expertise to the present project of compiling a list of approved additives for the organic food industry in Germany.

Klaus-Peter Wilbois is a senior research associate of FiBL Germany. As project director, he was responsible for compiling the list of approved inputs for organic agriculture in Germany. He is contributing his expertise to the present project of compiling a list of approved additives for the organic food industry in Germany.
